Okay, I procrastinated, wracked my brain, and otherwise nearly went mad, but I eventually narrowed it down to 50 authors who I currently consider to be among my favourites. This list is going to remain forever tentative, and is subject to change at my whim, though I strongly suspect that many of these authors are going to remain here for a long, long time.
